What it is
Polymarket runs a new market every five minutes on whether Bitcoin will finish the window up or down. PolyMaker is a small engine that trades those rounds as a market maker: split → sell → merge, window after window.
What I built
- A live engine in C that signs and sends orders, with several selling rules and a
--drymode that gets paper fills without sending anything. - A Bitcoin fair-value model fed live over WebSockets, from the Chainlink price that settles each round and the Binance price that moves 1–2 seconds earlier.
- A full-depth order book recorder that saves every round, and an event-driven backtester with a realistic fill model to test new rules against those recordings.
- Python paper bots and a live dashboard showing the book, trades and Bitcoin price as each round plays out.
- Tests on both sides: 86 checks that the C arithmetic matches the Python, and 77 Python tests.
